The National Agency for Food and Drugs and Administration and Control has been called upon to recognise the importance of Association and their relevance to the economy of the nation. This call was made by the Agronomists under the auspices of Agro Chemical and Animal Health Producers’ Association (AAHPA). This appeal was made at a seminar organised by AAHPA in conjunction with Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products Directorate of NAFDAC in Lagos. The Association Helmsman, Mr Babatunde Adewoye said that AAPHA need the support of NAFDAC in order to ensure that the products produced by members of AAHPA compete favourably with products imported into the country.  Mr Adewoye stated that products produced by members of his Association are of high quality and need the recognition of NAFDAC so as to encourage members to do more in order to increase the nation’s Gross Domestic Products (GDP). He solicited for help in the area of products registration which he said that members cannot meet the conditions. He appeal for a partnership that will ensure the expansion of the various factories owned by members as this will create more jobs and bring about positive impacts on the unemployment challenges in the country.
